RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile was updated to a new version today (1.1.0). The numerous new features to RCT4M include the eagerly awaited Queue Lines – the first of MANY additional classic gameplay features from the original games that are finally available to the mobile version. Here’s a quick run down of the new features:
- Queue Lines – the option to add Queue Lines to all of your coasters, attractions, and rides has been added! Just build the Queue Line Center to get started! Be sure to make the lines long enough or your peeps may get unhappy because they can’t get a space in line!
- 15 New User Levels – A bunch of new levels were added to the game so you can continue to earn XP and level-up to earn rewards and unlock new buildings/goals.
- New Ride Animations – All rides now have a start and stop animation that adds a whole new dimension of realism to the game. It also syncs with your queue lines so your peeps know when to get on and off of rides.
- Improved Tutorial – A new tutorial For our first time players to make it easier and faster to get into the game. Also, the first 50 coaster parts you build are completely free!
- Scheduled Downtime Support – Server downtimes with lack of information are now a thing of the past.
- Bug Fixes: A number of stability improvements (crash fixes), performance enhancements, fixes to the goals system, text display issues, and improved memory handling (all of which will now mean the game runs super smooth).
We’ve also been promised that future updates to RCT4M will include entire new categories of rides, environmental improvements, coaster track improvements, and peep behaviors as well as much more!
Dec 06, 2017 Unfortunately, RollerCoaster Tycoon lacks realism when it comes to the sex and age of guests (everyone is male and the same age). Despite this, not.

- Is there a trick to making the queue lines? I've built the Queue Center building, the entrance and exit on my ride. But when I go to place the actual queue line, the little entrance banner doesn't come up, the fencing isn't complete, and the little visitors don't know it's a queue.
- Aug 25, 2015 Has anyone else had any issues with their queue lines? My lines are plenty long enough but the guests stop like 1/2 through (or dont even get in the line, they just stop at the front) and they say they're mad and its killing their 'buzz'.
Rides are objects the Guests in the park can interact with and get their happiness met. They appear in all editions of the RollerCoaster Tycoon series, and can range from small ferris wheels to giant roller coasters. In RollerCoaster Tycoon World, these rides are divided into categories, but the number varies in other editions.

Entrances and exits[edit | edit source]
Entrances and exits are what allow guests to enter and exit the rides. A queue is a special type of pathway that is used to connect the entrance of a ride to the normal pathway, and the exit is connected just with a normal path. In the first 3 editions of the RollerCoaster Tycoon series, once the player places a ride, they must also place the entrance and exit on any of the sides of the ride. In RollerCoaster Tycoon World, however, the entrance and exit are automatically placed as soon as the player places the ride. The entrance of a ride consists of a small cylinder building next to the pathway where the guests can 'pay' for the ride. In the first 2 editions of the series, the path of the entrance is inside of a building with a pointed top. The exit consists of simply a gate in RCT3 and RCTW, while it consists of a small building that guests walk through in RCT1 and RCT2.
Riding rides[edit | edit source]
In RCT3 and RCTW, the player is able to ride nearly all of the rides available in the game. This can be accessed by clicking on a ride, and then clicking the circle in the middle of the ride's description. The player is able to choose from a variety of angles when riding a ride, such as the back of the ride, front of the ride, or outside of the ride. Additionally, they can switch the exact vehicle they ride in. This includes switching between different trains on coasters.
Ride types[edit | edit source]
Rides are organized differently in each RollerCoaster Tycoon edition.
